Public Appeal for Information

We are appealing for information following an incident in George Square, Shotton Colliery, where another police vehicle was deliberately set on fire. This occurred on 15th April at 19:36pm.

The suspect is described as a male riding a purple and black Surron bike. Enquiries are currently ongoing to identify the individual involved. 

We are urging anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area, or who may have any information, no matter how small, please come forward. 

All information provided will be treated in the strictest confidence and will remain anonymous.
