Community Engagement PC Fallows attended a focus group at the Just For Women Centre, speaking with both staff and clients about police response to domestic violence. Local Supermarket Incident Officers attended a local supermarket following reports of a group of youths causing issues and being verbally abusive towards staff. CCTV has been reviewed, the youths have been identified, and an investigation is now underway. Town Centre Anti-Social Behaviour PCSO Walker and PCSO Connah attended an incident involving a number of youths causing anti-social behaviour in the Town Centre. Some youths initially ran off. PCSO McKenna and PCSO Burnip attended to assist. A number of youths were spoken to and enquiries are ongoing.High-Visibility Patrols PC Thompson, PCSO Walker and PCSO Burnip carried out additional patrols in the Consett Town Centre area to provide reassurance and deter further anti-social behaviour.Supporting Vulnerable Residents PCSO Walker attended an address and completed a Herbert Protocol for an elderly individual sadly suffering with dementia, helping to ensure their safety and wellbeing.Action on Anti-Social Behaviour PCSO Connah, working alongside Durham County Council, issued an anti-social behaviour contract to a youth who has been causing ongoing issues in the Consett area. This will be closely monitored.Rural & Wildlife Protection PCSO Hart issued a poaching Community Protection Warning to an individual following a reported incident, reinforcing our commitment to protecting local wildlife and rural communities.Thank you to our community for your continued support and cooperation.
