Good Evening Residents, To continue our National Anti-Social Behaviour Week, I can confirm that overnight, we received no calls of Anti-Social Behaviour in the areas of Coundon, Leeholme, Middlestone, Westerton, Binchester and Newfield. Overnight our control room logged 1 job of Violence Against the Person, 1 Domestic incident and 1 Criminal Damage job across these areas. Today, I have been conducting home visits to visit those who have been named as responsible for riding vehicles anti-socially in the Coundon and Leeholme area. Drivers who have been identified as driving a vehicle anti-socially will be issued with a Traffic 183 Warning Notice. This notice lasts for 12 months. If the driver is seen to be driving anti-socially within the next 12 months, the vehicle can be seized from the driver. Please could I request that if you have any information regarding the use of off-road vehicles, particularly where they may be getting stored that you contact me at Rachael.Wadge@durham.police.uk. Please be reminded that the following PACT meetings are due to take place in the upcoming weeks: Thursday 28th July 2022 – 7pm – Middlestone Pact Meeting – Location: Ship Inn Thursday 11th August 2022 – 7pm – Coundon and Leeholme PACT Meeting – Location: Coundon Workingman’s Club
